Meet the Team

Dr. Florian Döring, CEO and Founder of XRnanotech in 2020 is dedicated to develop and fabricate innovative nanostructures and diffractive optical elements. He is experienced in the development and fabrication of high-quality X-ray optics with record-breaking resolution. After obtaining his MBA, he is determined to bring nanostructured optics to market with a dedicated team of scientists, engineers and business people at XRnanotech.

Adam Kubec

Dr. Adam Kubec, Director of Business Development started in 2021 and expertly advances X-ray optics and nanofabrication technologies. With over a decade of extensive experience in X-ray optics and Microtech across Germany, USA, Czechia and Switzerland, he collaborates with global scientists and engineers to drive pioneering solutions and strategic partnerships, enhancing XRnanotech’s market leadership in high-precision optical instrumentation.

Talgat Mamrybayev

Dr. Talgat Mamrybayev, R&D Manager joined in 2023 and specializes in electron beam lithography and the fabrication of diamond optics. At XRnanotech he oversees the research and development department and drives innovation by developing new products or technologies.

Damien Eschimese

Dr. Damien Eschimese, Product Manager joined in 2023 and specializes in the development and production of advanced zone plates and test targets. With extensive expertise in nanolithography, his role involves overseeing the fabrication of high-precision optical components using electron-beam lithography, critical for X-ray applications.

Marina Rojano Mateos

Marina Rojano Mateos, Junior Process Engineer, joined in 2023 and specializes in nano and micro-fabrication techniques for high-precision optical instrumentation. Her deep experience in electron beam lithography and two-photon polymerization, combined with a strong focus on precision and innovation, enables her to enthusiastically contribute to cutting-edge developments in the field.

Jan Erjawetz

Jan Erjawetz, Head of Optical Lithography and Process Development began at XRnanotech in 2022. He plays a crucial role in advancing lithography techniques and overseeing developmental projects. He has vast expertise in developing and optimizing advanced lithography processes, providing technical advice and support in laser direct write lithography, and in planning, managing, and executing complex, long-term projects with professional and technical proficiency.

Ethouba Al Jassin

Ethouba Al Jassin, Senior Process Engineer started in 2022 and has a strong background in semiconductor and surface physics. She brings extensive expertise and a passion for innovation to the team. She oversees and optimized manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Gerard Perren

Dr. Gérard S. Perren, Scientific Consultant, joined XRnanotech in August 2023 and brings in-depth scientific, technological, and project management expertise gained through his detailed studies of quantum matter utilizing photon, pump/probe X-ray, and neutron scattering techniques. He skillfully drives innovation in nano-optics, spanning from optical light to hard X-ray applications, through successful grant applications and strategic partnerships with industry and academia. He takes great satisfaction in consulting with clients on nano- and microtechnology, while also exploring new business opportunities for XRnanotech.

Sara Saggese Compri

Sara Isabella Saggese Compri, Engineer, Operations and Quality Manager, has a background in biotechnology and nanotechnology, with an additional degree in management and economics of international trade and commerce. Since April 2023, she brings extensive experience to ensure quality standards and product management at XRnanotech, including project leadership on nanofabrication projects.

Peter Alpert

Dr. Peter Aaron Alpert, Chief of Staff, joined in Feb. 2024 and enthusiastically develops and executes strategic plans for research and development projects as well as providing operational and administrative support. In the last decade he managed atmospheric chemistry research projects using nanometer-scale tools, benefiting the nanotechnology industry.

Alexios Parthenopoulos

Alexios Parthenopoulos, Junior Process Engineer, joined in 2023 with expert experience in nanotechnology, focusing primarily on electron beam lithography, etching and deposition. He works in various domains from material science to optics, and is driven by a strong motivation for experimental research and a passion to extend knowledge in new technologies and methods.

Florian Sander

Florian Sander, Operations Manager, is highly independent, self-confident, and a team-oriented professional with extensive knowledge of the company’s operations and every tool used in a cleanroom since he joined in 2021. Known for being the go-to problem solver, leveraging a strong background in technical and applied physics, IT systems electronics, and hands-on experience in field service and project management.

Christin Doring

Dr. Christin Döring, Communications Manager, joined in 2021 and expertly handles administrative tasks, content creation, and digital marketing. She crafts XRnanotechs’ compelling articles that highlight academic and innovative achievements. She shapes and promotes the company’s image and performs analytics of communications to ensure that the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
